

The Non-Identity Non-ProblemThe non-identity problem, or paradox of future individuals, is the unique problem that arises when a decision results in changes surrounding the identity, quantity and quality of life for future persons. The problem follows: A persons identity changes with our decision, so no matter in what condition his or her life exists, living in the first place is owed to our decision. They therefore cannot complain about the quality of their life if their life is remotely worth living. For them to have a complaint, their life would have to be comparable to and worse than never existing. I will attempt to prove that this paradox is not a rational problemThe Non-Identity Non-Problem
